| | Bottle O' Blues is a blues band with a flair for traditional and modern electric blues but versatile enough to play Chicago Blues, Country Blues, Delta Blues, East Coast Blues, Harmonica Blues and Texas Blues. We like to do interpretations of original recordings, not replication. We have limited original works currently and play music by the likes of: Eric Clapton, Freddie King, Shemekia Copeland, Susan Tedeschi, Maria Muldaur, Johnny Copeland, Blind Faith, Eva Cassidy, Junior Wells, Buddy Guy, Albert Collins, Elmore James, Allman Brothers, Muddy Waters, Chris Smither/Bonnie Raitt, Candy Cane, Richard Thompson, CCR, Dusty Springfield, Brownie McGhee, and many others. Bob Lynn—When blues had a baby they called it Bob Lynn. Bob brings a unique perspective to the percussion section, combining a driving blues beat with rock and funk rhythms. Bob retired from professional cycling because of his dislike of the French and to devote himself to drumming. However Bob can still be seen sporting his tight bicycling shorts on occasions. | Trevor Wenger- Trevor spends most of his time in the cold cellar in the PSU Physics Department where he experiments on the laws of atomic physics and fermentation. Trevor picked up the guitar as a child monk in the Tibetan hills. He credits his greatest blues influences as the Dali Lama, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Jimi Hendrix. | Martin Sheridan—hailing from the mean streets of Manchester, England, Martin began playing guitar at the age of 12. He has played all flavors of music from folk to rock and Latin jazz. He is planning on picking up the nose flute in the New Year. | Nikki Sheridan—”she has a voice like Billie Holliday with looks of Marilyn Monroe” - A former model, beauty queen and a Philadelphia Eagles cheerleader she is now devoted to singing the blues. | Josh Cunningham: The Curse of the Bambino had a profound effect on Josh's early development and drew him to the Harp for some solace. Josh has developed a wonderfully lyrical harmonica style and has been known to bring tears of joy, tears of melancholy and spine tingling WOWs to the audience -all in one song. | Others: Jen Bortz—Sound Engineer Steve McKenna—Manager Joe Bishop—Security Rowan Sheridan—Inspiration And thanks to our fans and all the blues and jazz greats who have nurtured and sustained us. |
